Russian Phrases will help you to built confidence when speaking Russian. It consist of common phrases which you should try to famililiarise yourself with. This will help you to improve your Russian Language. It certainly is 'стоит хлопот.'
какой бы то ни было -- all; any; anyhow; whatever
- каким бы то ни было образом -- by any means
не стоит хлопот — it not worth the trouble
смотреть опасности [смерти] в глаза — look danger [death] straight in the eye
я глазам своим не верю — I can't believe my eyes
долой с глаз моих! — get out of my sight!
слушать во все уши — be all ears
зуб за зуб — a tooth for a tooth
держать язык за зубами — hold one's tongue
до последней капли крови — to the last drop of blood
от всего сердца — whole-heartedly
вправлять / вкручивать мозги кому-л — knock some sense into smb's head
выйти из возраста (для) — exceed the age limit (for)
он уже не ребёнок — he is no longer a child
взрослый фильм — adult film
он по молодости лет не понимает этого — he is much too young to understand it
вы молодеете с каждым днём — you look younger every day
не могу вспомнить названия — I can't think of the name
Cмени пластинку! -- Change the subject! (plate /record)
как по нотам — like clockwork; without a hitch
рояль в кустах — artificial turn of the storyline (in films)
играть первую [вторую] скрипку — play first [second] fiddle
запишите это за мной — charge it to me
устроим себе праздник -- let's have a party; make a splash
по будням — on weekdays
трудовые будни — working life
в самый раз - most suitable; best
именно так! - exactly so!
вот именно! — exactly!; that's it!
а именно — namely
сколько именно? — how much exactly?
кто именно? — who exactly?
вот именно это он и говорил — just / precisely what he said
именно она это сделала — it was she who did it
это не его амплуа — it's not his line, it's not typical of him
это амплуа ей очень идёт - she fits that role very well
мне любопытно это увидеть — I am curious to see that
мне любопытно было услышать, что — it was interesting for me to hear that
любопытно, где вы это взяли? — I wonder where you took it from
поднять занавес — raise the curtain
опустить занавес — drop the curtain
дать занавес — drop the curtain
под занавес (под конец) — towards the end

к месту и не к месту — in and out of season; whether appropriate or not
не будем делать из этого трагедию — let's not turn it into a tragedy; this is not the end of the world

условия на рабочем месте — conditions at the workplace
торговать из-под полы — sell under the counter (illegal sale)
туда не проехать по дороге — the place is not accessible by road

иметь свой (собственный) угол — have a place of one's own
результаты получились блестящие — the results turned out brilliantly
у тебя получится — you'll make it
это сломало ему всю жизнь — it ruined his whole life
рай на земле — heaven on Earth
у меня дух, дыхание занимается — it takes my breath away
тебя мама родная не узнает — your own mother won't recognize you
на двойку (плохо) — awfully, couldn't be worse
- на тройку — not so well; could be better
- на четвёрку — rather well
- на пятёрку — excellently
век тебя помнить буду — I will always remember you
не моя (твоя, его и т. д.) забота — (that's) none of my (your, his, etc.) business
раздевать глазами кого-л — undress somebody with one's eyes
с течением времени — in due course, eventually
в течение — during; throughout; within
в ней нет ни капли зависти — there isn't a drop of jealousy in her
моё сердце переполнилось радостью — my heart overflowed with joy
биться до последней капли крови — ≈ fight to the last
всё может случиться — anything can happen
по привычке — by habit
